Lourdes Margarita Aves Caballero (Lou)

Aves Aromatherapy began in 2019 as Lou’s personal exploration of aromatherapy and organic skincare.

A graduate of Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, with a master’s degree in International Affairs from Ohio University, Lou brings her background in learning and knowledge-sharing to experiences rooted in nature, heritage, and everyday wellbeing.

She is a certified aromatherapist trained at the Aromahead Institute and a graduate of Formula Botanica’s Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation and Advanced Diploma in Organic Cosmetic Science.

She is also a member of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists and a student of Clinical Aromatherapy under the Aromatherapy Institute of the Philippines.

Inspired by the estate’s botanical heritage, she brings together hands-on distillation, sensory discovery, and creative learning to help visitors reconnect with plants and place.

Her hope is that every visitor leaves with more than something handmade—a moment of renewal, a deeper appreciation of nature, and simple ways to bring more care into everyday life.
